Product Details
Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption. The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton. Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").
Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

In truth, there is no brakeman - The job went away with the addition of air-brakes. The name still lingers but with a nebulous job description that may include throwing hand switches in the yard, assistant to the conductor, hand signals to the engineer, passenger duties etc. Pre-1920s he road in the caboose and applied the brakes when signaled. Individual brakes for each car may have been required so it was common for him to walk atop the cars climbing car ladders. He was generally the one who threw the "hobo" off the train. In this image he is signaling to the engineer to stop and go for disembarking the passengers and disconnecting the cars to prepare for a refuel and turnaround.

F/L The blue tones are perfect for this train. The light vignette sets off the train beautifully. Wonderful composition with goof details.
